Mass Timber

Committed to modern, powerful design and longevity in the work we deliver, Constructive PD mass timber projects rethink what's possible in design, durability and sustainability.

Committed to modern, powerful design and longevity in the work we deliver, our mass timber projects rethink what’s possible in design, durability and sustainability.

From grand entrances to alfrescos, adventure playgrounds to WA’s largest mass-engineered timber project to date, Constructive PD take on mass timber projects from a diverse range of contracts.

We work with the best Tier 1 and Tier 2 builders in Australia to supply and install fully renewable and sustainable glue-laminated timber and cross-laminated timber. Our structures are manufactured off-site at our Perth and Regional facilities, meaning they can be quickly and easily assembled on-site with minimal disruption.s

An environmentally-friendly building material that doesn’t skimp on strength or aesthetic, mass timber is a perfect choice for an innovative design for the future.

The materials we use in mass timber projects:

Touted for its high strength rating, mass timber construction is as sturdy as materials like concrete and steel while being significantly lighter in weight. This makes it an ideal choice for a wide range of structures, from apartment complexes to large commercial buildings.

  • Cross Laminated Timber (CLT): CLT is a type of engineered wood that is made by bonding layers of lumber together with glue. It is strong and stable, making it ideal for use in construction projects where those qualities are required.
  • Glulam: Glulam is another type of engineered wood made by bonding layers of lumber together with glue. It is often used in the construction of beams and other support structures because of its strength and stability.
